“Are we in Anchorage yet?” It’s a cloudy Thursday here back in Anchorage, Alyeska (that’s the native name for Alaska). I didn’t write yesterday because we arrived back in Anchorage around 6:30 p.m. last night after a busy day. We were late for breakfast, then we took a marine life tour. We saw Orcas, Humpbacks, and Sea Otters! When we arrived back in Anchorage, we ate dinner at the restaurant called the “The Fancy Moose.”
This morning, I helped take care of Kim’s dogs again. I just found a soft spot in a dog called Dakota. I have to say, Avalanche and Denali never hurt me when I played with them in NJ, but although Dakota hurt me the most because he plays rough, he has a play side and a lovey-dovey side too. He gave me 7 doggy hugs today!
I just finished breakfast and Kim is at a musher meeting. Just now I helped make bootie chains to dry them out. Some shout-outs to my class… I have some booties on my hands and maybe I can collect enough for everybody. But if I can’t it might be a random pick. And for the third grade, I can show you some autographs from the mushers.
